Dior Unleashes Its Star In Asia

Glamour, fashion and luxury sums up the recent high-profiled event opening of Christian Dior's largest flagship boutique in The Landmark, the shopping center in Hong Kong Central District. The two-storey boutique, which occupies space of 5050-square meters, offers the widest selection of the brand's ready-to-wear clothes, leather goods, watch and jewelry.

The DIOR bash itself created a stir in Hong Kong as Asian celebrities like the Taiwanese F4 member Vic Zhou with sister act Barbie and Dee Hsu, South Korean pop singer Park Ji-Yoon, and Hong Kong rock star Denise Ho, graced the event and made a spectacular performances.

The venue is a feast to more than 1,500 guests, who were served with overflowing Moet & Chandon. They jazzed up the ground level of the mall and created a star-shaped entry point that surely made one sparkle like a Hollywood star. To further accentuate the venue, colorful stars and beaming lights bejeweled the place. The middle fountain area was decked out for the fashion show and across it was a star-shaped platform where the entertainers performed. Fireworks heralded the opening of the store, from which the model emerged for a presentation of its Hard Core, STAR collection, followed by a group of dancing girls who came down in scintillating metallic outfits using the escalator.

Speaking before the Philippine media representatives who were invited to the event, Dominique Taieb, the commercial director of LVMH Watch & Jewellery Inc, said this is the seventh of a series of boutique openings in Hong Kong, which translates to our growing confidence in the region. Its effort is focused on creating a hub for luxury, not just business in Asia.

Christian Dior is bringing in a whole range of its DIOR watches that are crucial accessories at the heart of the brand. They combined modernity, creativity and expertise of fine Swiss watchmaking. Enhanced more than ever by the brand's dynamics in terms of image, distribution and communication, DIOR watches aims to get a lead of the market share in the fashion watches. John Galliano and his brand studio team have supervised the creation of all the watches. 

"Access to versatility, modernity and novelty is what we offer," said Taieb. DIOR timepieces include the Diorific in black rubber strap with transverse DIOR stamp, or in 10K micron gold-plated or stainless steel hound's tooth pattern bracelets; Malice collection in stainless steel case available in CD Link, or black ottoman strap, street chic, trotter and denim straps; the Chris 47 in the most revolutionary-designed polished steel case in fine leather band in red, black, white, and white python. Also available in sparkling versions and timepieces that complete its ready-to-wear collection such as Admit It, Dior Girly, and the very latest D'Trick.

When asked what sets DIOR watches apart from other fashion brand of watches, Taieb reiterates that the wearer sets the difference. Women are the ones making the statement on their individuality. It's the luxury and novelty that the brand offers, that is, the intricate designs and elements used in making the fit perfect and comfortable on their wrists.
