Rise in Tagaytay Highlands

Combining the beauty of araal stone and New Zealand
pine, the Woodridge at Tagaytay Highlands, owned and
developed by Highlands Prime, Inc., presents luxury
mountain condominiums in one of the highest elevations
of the exclusive mountain resort community. Rising on
a ridge overlooking the Woodlands, these multi-level
homes offer a spectacular view of the world class
Highlands golf course, Mt. Makiling, and Laguna de

to date has sold more than 70% of the 138 units available for
sale at the Woodridge at Tagaytay Highlands.

The Woodridge consists of 7 buildings with 138 2-and
3-bedroom condominium units that offer the comforts of
home and the feeling of living in your very own
mountainside chalet. Nestled in a 5-hectare sloping
ridge, all units come semi-furnished;
fully-airconditioned, with timber-finished floor s,
pinewood trimmings on the ceiling, carpeted bedroom
floors, and with pinewood baseboards. The kitchen is
equipped with a cooking range and oven, range hood,
refrigerator and a complete cabinet system. The
developer, Highlands Prime provided cable TV and
telephone outlets, built-in hot water system,
emergency back up power supply and uninterrupted water
supply. Each unit has two covered parking slots at
the ground floor of the building, and an elevator
exclusively servicing six units. The condominium
dwellings range in size from 111 to 183 square meters
of livable space.

Architect Bong Recio of Recio+Casas Architects, who
designed The Woodridge, complex shares that the unique
setting and location dictated the choice of the
mountain-type architecture as the project design
inspiration. This is evidenced by the abundance of
exposed woods and the liberal use of earth-toned
colors all throughout the seven buildings. Even the
names of the seven clusters are evocative of American
parks or upland flora: Yosemite, Mesa Verde,
Shenandoah, Mt. Rainier, Sequoia,Acadia and

Seen from a distance, the 7 buildings of The
Woodridge actually enhance the allure and appeal of
the mountain slopes, blending seamlessly into the
surrounding terrain. With its prime upslope location,
it offers a more secluded and private atmosphere away
from the hustle and bustle of the busy metropolis
Different colors of the slate roof were part of the
overall design. This was done primarily to break the
monotony of the subdued earthen color palette. It not
only makes for easier identification, it also adds an
element of surprise in an otherwise very calm and
peaceful setting, Even the site development plan had
to be carefully studied and specially designed so as
not to cause any damage to the pristine mountain

“Woodridge turned out to exactly as we had envisioned
it to be,” Arch. Recio proudly adds. Notwithstanding
the strict environmental issues they had to contend
with, everything paid off in the end. Beaming with
pride, he remembers receiving numerous calls from
friends, who have seen The Woodridge, and indicated
their desire to buy their very own private mountain

Highlands Prime, Inc., a publicly-listed property
development company and majority owned by the SM

Woodridge alone. The Company’s upcoming projects
